The Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive employs a system of ranks to designate command positions and roles involving autority. Pilots have the opportunity to take on larger and more responsible roles through training and certification by the Alliance Academy.

Alliance ranks are divided into three groups:

• Admiralty
• Command Staff
• Officers and Enlisted Personnel

Each group contains three ranks, which are detailed further under their respective headings, to the left.
